Comment 4 Hans 2011-06-27 19:40:28 UTC Just tested linux-image-2.6.39-2-amd64 from debian-amd64/wheezy, but got the same error again. If not, you can use Code: dmesg -c as root to clear your dmesg output. If that is wrong, I'll let you know within 24 hours. Comment 16 Hans 2011-07-01 21:49:41 UTC Sorry for sending too much of the logs. Ubuntu 16.04 Unable To Enumerate Usb Device About 2 weeks ago, I swapped out my RAM based on strange errors during the installation process (for both Mandriva and Ubuntu testing). But sorry, to tell you, the fix on my system does still not work.
I'll provide the output logs as soon as possible. This comment is just an info, that the bug is still existent (maybe now only on very few and special systems like mine). Or do the OHCI ports remain unusable? Unable To Enumerate Usb Device Arduino You may need to increase CONFIG_LOG_BUF_SHIFT, perhaps make it as large as 20.

No more annoying messages seen yet. Other errors have ceased after swapping RAM...could the USB enumeration error have been solved by swapping RAM sticks as well??? There are other processes affected as well, that's just the most obvious. If I don't bind the entry again, one of the message keeps spaming the console.
The only difference between the current driver and the old one is that during initialization, the OHCI controllers are now put into the RESET state (that's what the writel() does). I'll provide more information if needed.
