Bug in excel 2007, brought on by an update. We have been using this set-up for nearly 3 years and no problems until this last week. The only way I can get this to work (at this point) is to run a macro that updates every 45 seconds IN EACH WORKBOOK! I am awared the Excel 2002 version allows Track Changes on the conditioned that the workbook is switch to shared mode. I would recommend getting people to save and close out of the shared workbook regularly and then unsharing it to clear all the history crap. But the best solution I can tell you, is, convert your .xls toformat, or recreate them.
